Duckweed #4, 2009, now at The Collider in Asheville

On April 7, please join us for an opening reception, artist talk and book signing celebrating my new show at The Collider in downtown Asheville, NC. Struck by Nature features visual art made in American landscapes directly impacted by climate change.  

The reception runs from 5:00 - 6:30pm, and the artist talk begins at 5:30. The talk will focus on using visual art to engage audiences on environmental issues. I'll also be signing copies of my book, Struck by Nature: Photographs from Bald Head Island, featuring unique barrier island landscapes in North Carolina.

The Collider is a downtown innovation center focused on climate solutions, located in their new beautiful space overlooking Pritchard Park. The exhibition is on display through August, and can be viewed at The Collider during their many public events (visit www.thecollider.org and click on the events tab for a calendar).
